DealRoom 2023 Growth Validates Demand for M&A Optimization

240 New Customers Joined Our Community 

Our customers are at the core of our community. Here are a few customer spotlights from 2023.

Pioneering Apple device management for enterprises, Jamf celebrated a significant milestone in 2023 – their first end-to-end acquisition orchestrated seamlessly through DealRoom. Camilo Franco, Director of M&A Integration and Operations at Jamf, credits DealRoom as the linchpin for their success.  Where previously the Jamf team managed different stages of a deal lifecycle across disparate tools, they have dramatically increased collaboration and efficiency by enabling DealRoom as their single source of truth.  

Embarking on a transformative growth trajectory, Miro, a rising star in digital collaboration and project management, turned to DealRoom to navigate the intricacies of their first deal. Headed by Shrey Parekh, Global Head of Corporate Development and Venture at Miro brought in DealRoom to increase visibility across teams, offer real-time change tracking, and serve as the single source for diligence and integration. DealRoom not only propelled Miro through their first deal but also laid the foundation for future due diligence and integration processes.

Industry titan Belden used DealRoom to navigate four end-to-end deals with increased efficiency. In a recent interview with DealRoom, Oleg K., M&A Business Development Analyst, shared that the DealRoom platform's intuitive design, regular feedback mechanisms, and consolidated information flow enabled their team to drastically optimize their M&A practice.  From 100s of disparate excel trackers to a streamlined location for everything from pipeline management through to post-merger integration, Belden is able to eliminate misalignment across teams and accelerate deal lifecycle.

In 2023 we had over 60 releases, from small enhancements to exciting new features.  Keep reading to learn about a few highlights:

Gantt Chart View: DealRoom's Gantt Chart helps to eliminate team misalignment, especially when managing the post-merger integration proces. With this interactive view, M&A teams can quickly and easily understand task timelines, dependencies, and progress, providing teams with a way to clearly prioritize which tasks need to happen in order to keep a deal on track.   

Deal Tasks: We added Deal Tasks to our Pipeline module so that users could easily create and associate tasks with specific deals, assign owners to those tasks, and seamlessly notify them via email.  Deal Tasks  increases visibility across teams in the early stages of the deal cycle so that no crucial next steps fall through the cracks, resulting in faster deal velocity. 

Improved Pipeline Permissions: We upgraded our pipeline permissions to address the challenge of managing access to large deal pipelines across even larger teams. With potentially hundreds of targets, the risk of sensitive information falling into the wrong hands is mitigated by automating permission allocation based on specific criteria. This upgrade empowers users to set criteria-based access for different departments, managers, leadership teams, or stakeholders, ensuring that only authorized individuals have access to sensitive information.
