DealRoom Welcomes a New Chapter: Peter Biro Expands His Role as CFO and COO

We’re entering a new and exciting chapter at DealRoom. As we continue to scale our platform, our team, and our mission to make M&A more efficient, transparent, and collaborative, we’re taking important steps to ensure our organization is ready for this next stage. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce that our CFO, Peter Biro, will also be stepping into the role of COO.

This expanded role reflects the momentum we’re building and the focus we’re bringing to execution as we work toward our next growth milestone. DealRoom has grown into a $10 million business, and taking it to the next level requires not just operational excellence, but leadership that understands how every function contributes to the larger vision.

“We’ve done an amazing job here getting this business to be a $10 million business,” Peter said. “To get it to the next stage is going to be a huge challenge, which I’m really excited about.”

As CFO, Peter has been instrumental in strengthening DealRoom’s financial operations and driving alignment across departments, but his impact has gone far beyond the numbers. He has always been focused on empowering people, removing barriers, and fostering collaboration, which will be key as DealRoom continues to expand its global footprint and product offering. 

Peter’s approach reflects what has made DealRoom successful so far: curiosity, collaboration, and a relentless focus on improvement. As we move into this next phase, his leadership will be central to building the systems, culture, and strategy that help us grow sustainably while staying true to our mission.

We’re proud of what DealRoom has accomplished so far, and we know the best is yet to come. With Peter stepping into this expanded role, we’re better positioned than ever to take on the next stage of growth, serve our customers at a higher level, and continue shaping the future of M&A.
