BOSTON, MA, June 11, 2026 — DealRoom today announced 55 enhancements to DealRoom MCP, the only MCP purpose-built for Buyer-Led M&A™.

Shipped in roughly eight weeks since the May launch, the release builds on what made DealRoom MCP valuable in the first place: giving AI direct access to the deal data, documents, processes, and decisions inside DealRoom. With richer context and broader read-and-write capabilities, corporate development teams can work faster, analyze more effectively, and make better-informed decisions without the downloads, uploads, or manual syncing.

Built with the customers using it every day

Ever since the May launch of DealRoom MCP the enthusiasm from customers and the broader M&A community has been strong- signaling that the industry is hungry to apply more AI into their workflows. In fact, demand outpaced the Beta from day one, and customers are still on the waitlist to gain access.

Teams connected their AI and immediately put it to work: searching and analyzing data-room documents, writing findings, setting up rooms, and updating their pipelines- all without downloading a file.

Throughout the entire process, the DealRoom product team worked hand in hand with Beta users to understand what was working and where enhancements could be made.  The 55 enhancements we are launching today were born directly from that feedback.

What's new in this release

‍1. Your AI can now write across the deal.

In the original launch, Deal notes and Task comments were read only.  With this launch, that changes. Deal notes are fully writable so you can create and edit, not just read. Task comments are now supported end-to-end: read, create, edit, and list them all.

2. Findings got richer.

Before this release, findings captured only the title. Now, every Finding carries dedicated description and mitigation fields, so AI captures the risk and the plan, not just a title.

3. Rich-text and Markdown are preserved.

Before, formatting was flattened into plain text, so structure was lost.
Now, formatting holds across notes, comments, task descriptions, and findings, so everything comes back structured and readable.

4. Big pipelines are workable.

Larger deal lists previously offered fewer ways to organize and navigate the data. DealRoom MCP can now filter, sort, and page through the deals list, making large pipelines easier to work through without losing context.

5. Easier and more reliable.

Single-org auto-connect, a hardened API and Claude-client compatibility, and better paging so very large data rooms stay fully available to the assistant.

‍Why it matters

AI is becoming the default workplace for deal teams. For that AI to be powerful, it needs a dedicated system of record for deal data, process, and decisions. In other words, AI is only as good as the context it has access to. DealRoom serves as that system of record, and DealRoom MCP connects it to any MCP-compatible AI ( Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, and more), giving AI deal workflows the rich context to maximize their accuracy and speed.

For corp dev teams, that means three things:

Teams can synthesize the full pipeline in seconds, surface and send risks straight to the data room as findings, and build accurate reporting for the board, all in the AI they already use. Documents never leave DealRoom's secure environment, and DealRoom stays up to date automatically, with no downloads, uploads, or manual sync.

The result is the same as the original launch, now more complete: work faster, analyze sharper, and make better-informed decisions that lead to higher-quality deals.

Shipping in lockstep

This launch demonstrates that DealRoom doesn’t just ship product once and  move on. We're constantly innovating the tools that solve real problems for our customers,  based directly on those user’s feedback. Your AI investment and your DealRoom investment keep compounding together, and your system of record keeps getting better by the week.
