BOSTON, MA – May 20, 2026 – DealRoom today announced the launch of DealRoom MCP, a new connector between AI tools to live deal data inside DealRoom. Available in Private Beta, DealRoom MCP enables M&A teams to connect tools such as OpenAI ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, and more directly to DealRoom via the Model Context Protocol (MCP)

AI tools are already becoming part of everyday M&A workflows. Corp dev teams use them to summarize CIMs, review contracts, analyze pipeline health, research acquisition targets, and generate diligence findings. But until now, those workflows still required constant manual handoffs between the AI and the system of record for deal data and management (ex: DealRoom).

Teams still had to download diligence documents from DealRoom, upload them to AI for analysis, and then manually copy findings, requests, and updates back into their system of record, whether it be DealRoom, Excel, a project management tool, or other solution.. When teams are managing multiple active deals at once, that friction compounds quickly.

DealRoom MCP removes that disconnect by allowing AI agents to securely read and write directly to DealRoom in real time.

With the DealRoom MCP, teams can:

{{cards-list_start}}

  • Analyze diligence documents and write findings directly back into DealRoom
  • Research acquisition targets and automatically create deal records
  • Generate pipeline summaries and leadership updates
  • Set up customized data rooms with tried and true templates
  • Parse inbound teasers and add opportunities into the pipeline automatically

For example, instead of downloading hundreds of customer contracts for review, a corp dev manager can ask their AI to analyze documents directly from the DealRoom data room, flag unusual risks, generate findings, and create follow-up diligence requests automatically.

Similarly, corp dev teams researching targets in ChatGPT or Claude can now push their research directly into DealRoom, without having to manually create or update pipeline records afterward.

The result is a workflow in which AI and DealRoom operate together rather than as disconnected systems.

DealRoom MCP also helps organizations maintain stronger security and governance standards. Documents remain inside DealRoom’s secure environment while permissions and audit trails continue to inherit from existing DealRoom controls.

DealRoom MCP is available in Private Beta for select design partners, with support for any MCP-compatible AI at launch.
