AI Suggested Findings scans your emails, flags risks worth tracking, and lets your team accept or reject, so you spend less time tracking risks and more time resolving them.

BOSTON, MA, September 10, 2026 DealRoom, the AI-powered operating system for Buyer-Led M&A™, today announced AI Suggested Findings, a new DealRoom Diligence capability that uses AI to capture risks and issues from deal-related emails and attachments and bring them directly into the diligence process.

Instead of relying on corporate development teams to manually move every red flag from an inbox into a tracker, AI Suggested Findings analyzes deal emails, identifies issues worth tracking, and proposes them as Findings for the team to review.

Every suggestion stays human-controlled. Teams can accept, edit, or reject what AI surfaces, and nothing becomes an official Finding without their approval.

The result is a more complete record of risk with less time spent manually tracking issues and more time spent understanding and resolving them. And because AI Suggested Findings works from the pre-LOI phase, Findings can build while a deal is still in the pipeline, so teams enter diligence with a ready-made list already waiting to be reviewed.

The risks that shape a deal often start in email

Some of the most important diligence information does not first appear in a VDR or formal diligence tracker.

It shows up in an email.

A seller mentions an unusual contract provision. Legal flags a potential liability. A functional lead raises a concern. An advisor spots an issue that could affect valuation or integration.

Today, capturing those conversations is largely manual. Someone has to read the email, recognize that the issue matters, open another system, and recreate it as a task, Finding, tracker entry, Slack thread, or another email.

When teams are moving quickly across multiple deals, some of those risks never make it into the official diligence record.

That creates a bigger problem later. Issues can resurface after key decisions are made, or even after close, leaving integration teams without the context or mitigation plans they need.

AI Suggested Findings connects those conversations directly to the diligence process.

From an email conversation to a structured Finding

AI Suggested Findings works through DealRoom's Outlook and Gmail plug-ins, analyzing logged emails and attachments for risks, red flags, and issues worth tracking.

When AI identifies something important, it creates a suggested Finding that includes:

{{cards-list_start}}

  1. A title and description
  2. Finding type and severity
  3. A short explanation of why the issue was flagged
  4. A connection to the correct deal

Suggestions appear in a dedicated review queue on the Findings page, where deal teams can accept, edit, or reject each one.

Accepted suggestions become standard DealRoom Findings, just like Findings created manually.

AI never publishes a Finding on its own.

This approach supports the speed impact of AIt while ensuring the deal team remains in control of what becomes part of the official diligence record.

Leverage Pre-LOI emails to strengthen diligence process

AI Suggested Findings works on emails from the pre-LOI phases of a deal, allowing risks and issues to accumulate while a deal is still moving through the pipeline.

That means diligence does not have to begin from a blank slate the moment a deal crosses LOI.

Instead, the team can enter formal diligence with a ready-made list of potential Findings already waiting to be reviewed, edited, accepted, or removed.

For corporate development teams working against tight diligence timelines, that creates a head start on understanding what could affect the deal before the most intensive phase begins.

AI Suggested Findings helps corporate development teams:

Building an M&A operating system that captures context as the deal happens

AI is quickly becoming part of how M&A teams analyze information and make decisions.

But AI is most useful when it works from the same context the deal team does.

AI Suggested Findings builds that context directly into the DealRoom M&A Operating System by turning everyday deal conversations into structured diligence information as the deal happens.

Rather than asking teams to create another AI workflow or manage another inbox, the capability works within the email and DealRoom workflows they already use.

As more M&A work moves through AI, the advantage will come from having a complete system of record that captures the context, risks, decisions, and actions behind every deal.

AI Suggested Findings is another step toward making that record build itself.
