DealRoom, the leading M&A lifecycle management platform, has announced a new partnership with Grata, the deal-sourcing platform for finding, researching, and engaging with private companies.

M&A is one of the most complicated and highest-stakes business processes. However, there is a lack of purpose-built technology designed to manage and automate M&A processes. This leads to huge amounts of manual work that can slow dealmaking. DealRoom and Grata are coming together in a strategic partnership dedicated to combining their strengths to build products that help customers streamline dealmaking and increase pipeline management efficiency and effectiveness.

The strategic partnership between DealRoom and Grata brings together two M&A solution providers committed to modernize antiquated M&A approaches in order to optimize and accelerate deal sourcing.

The DealRoom M&A Optimization Platform empowers M&A teams move beyond the outdated and inefficient process model of the past to optimize the M&A lifecycle from sourcing through integration, unlocking new levels of efficiency and synergy realization. Grata’s deep expertise in private companies, powered by proprietary ML/natural language processing algorithms, ensures dealmakers can access the most accurate and up-to-date company intelligence.

In addition to their existing M&A products, both DealRoom and Grata are at the cutting edge of AI application development for M&A, with Grata just launching Ana, an AI analyst for Desktop Diligence. And, DealRoom is currently gearing up to launch beta AI capabilities designed to reduce complexity and expedite execution, making M&A teams inherently more efficient and allowing them to focus on their strategic objectives.

But, the partnership extends beyond a shared commitment to technology innovation in the M&A space. Both DealRoom and Grata have a shared passion for fostering the M&A community and improving outdated and inherently inefficient M&A processes and approaches.

By formalizing this strategic partnership DealRoom and Grata lay the foundation for deep ongoing collaboration across the board, with a focus on joint product development, AI thought leadership, and more, all dedicated to helping dealmakers de-risk deals and drive better M&A outcomes.

“DealRoom and Grata are natural partners, with a shared passion for driving the M&A industry forward, using all the levers at our disposal- technology, community, and education. I couldn’t be more excited about the solutions we will be able to provide to customers by aligning our products," said Kison Patel, CEO and Chief M&A Scientist.
