Easy 4-levels permissions
DealRoom has four permission levels including view with a watermark, download and print with a watermark, view / download / print original unwatermarked files, and edit files. Permissions are set on the group level and can be updated at anytime. New files inherit the parent folders permissions, but this can also be adjusted. For example, if a folder is set to only view with a watermark, but a team wants one document in the folder to be downloadable, they simply change the document’s settings.
Fair Pricing for Modern M&A
Traditional VDRs like Ideals, charge users per page plus additional overage and other usage fees. Since data storage cost less than .0023 cents / GB, we don’t think charging 70 cents per page is fair. That’s why DealRoom offers flat rate plans that include unlimited data, users, rooms, and customer support. For example, our per project pricing is a one time flat rate based on transaction size and the room stays open for the duration of the deal.
Better Analytics Reporting
With DealRoom, all due diligence goes through the platform. Because of this, insightful analytics are captured that would otherwise be lost when teams do a bulk download from a traditional VDR such as Ideals. Analytics are also captured on user, document, and file activity. They are displayed using progress charts, tables, heat maps, and more. Apply filters such as date range, groups, lists, and priority to find exactly what you are looking for. All analytics can be exported into a PDF for quick reporting.
